Domesticating spirit, bone by broken bone?
What do you call a dream within a dream? A meta-dream? What then do you call a forgotten dream, one only revealed inside the architecture of another dream before it disappears again? The American poet Ruth Stone used to write poems in reverse, catching them by the tail. This dream seemed to operate according to a similar logic, unraveling only from the inside-out.
